First, the waterproof function requirements of roofing building waterproof materials
The waterproofing of buildings and structures is achieved by relying on materials with waterproof properties. The quality of waterproof materials is directly related to the durability of the waterproof layer. The quality of waterproof engineering depends to a large extent on the performance and quality of waterproof materials. Materials are the basis of waterproof engineering. When we are working on waterproof engineering, the waterproof materials used must conform to the material quality standards of the country or industry and should meet the design requirements. However, different waterproofing practices should also have different waterproofing requirements for materials.
The common requirements for building waterproof materials are as follows:
(1) It has good weather resistance and should have a certain bearing capacity for light, heat and ozone.
(2) It has water penetration resistance and acid and alkali resistance.
(3) It has certain adaptability to external temperature and external force, that is, the tensile strength of the material is high enough to withstand the change of temperature difference and the deformation caused by various external forces and expansion and cracking of the base layer.
(4) The integrity is good, not only can maintain its own cohesiveness, but also can firmly bond the high peel strength with the base layer to form a stable non-permeable whole.
For waterproofing projects in different parts, the requirements for waterproof materials also have their own focus. The specific requirements are as follows:
(1) The waterproofing materials used in roofing waterproofing engineering are particularly important for weather resistance, temperature resistance and external resistance. Because the roof waterproof layer, especially the exposed waterproof layer without the insulation house, has long been affected by the harsh natural environment such as wind, rain, sun and snow, and the deformation of the base structure.
(2) The waterproof material used in the underground waterproofing project must have high-quality impermeability and elongation, and have good overall water-tightness. These requirements are based on the constant erosion of groundwater, the relatively large water, and the deformations that may occur in the underground structure.
(3) The waterproof material selected for the indoor toilet room waterproofing project should be suitable for the change of the shape of the base layer and is conducive to the laying of the pipeline equipment. It is excellent in water-tightness and the overall coating film without joints is ideal. This is proposed for the characteristics of small area, many tunnels, more yin and yang angles, more sanitary equipment, and more complex ground, floor and wall connection structures.
(4) The waterproof material selected for the waterproofing project of the external plugging of the building shall be made of materials with good weather resistance, high elongation, adhesion and sag resistance. Generally, waterproof sealing materials are selected and supplemented. It is advisable to carry out the matching treatment of the gasket insulation material. This is proposed in consideration of the need for the plug body to withstand the comprehensive functions of insulation, heat insulation and waterproofing, and the special form of the gap structure connection.
(5) The waterproof materials selected for the waterproof construction of special structures shall be selected according to the characteristics of different projects and the different requirements of the functions.
