    Note 2: The suitable climate for Yangmei:
Yangmei is resistant to yin and wet. Generally, the annual average temperature is 15-21 °C, the lowest temperature is above -8 °C, and the annual rainfall is not less than 1000 mm. Yangmei is most suitable for altitudes below 500 meters. There are fern, rhododendron and other indicator plants on the mountain. It does not accumulate water and is cultivated on the damp slopes.
    Note 3: Preparation of Yangmei Dingzhi Point:
Before planting, the wells should be dug well, and the excavation should be carried out in the winter. The high-level line is dug into a fish scale pit. Choose the first-grade seedlings with thick and several branches and no roots. Before planting, cut off the upper third of the leaves of the seedlings to reduce the evaporation of water to facilitate survival and survival.
    Note 5, Yangmei's colonization method:
In order to improve the survival rate of Yangmei seedlings, it should not be shallow when planting, especially where the autumn drought is relatively heavy. The old scion on the rootstock should be buried under the soil, and at least 3-5 leaves of the newly grown leaves on the scion should be buried in the soil so that the scion is rooted. If the seed is shallow, the old scion is exposed to the soil, the survival rate is low, which is the key to planting Yang Meicheng.
Therefore, before the planting of the bayberry seedlings, all the leaves should be cut off, leaving the petiole, and the nylon film on the scion should be removed. If there is a damaged root system, use a pruning shear to cut the wound. At the same time, it should be noted that the dry work is done well, and the center dry height above the interface is about 25 cm.
When Yangmei is planted, first cover a layer of 15-20 cm thick topsoil, which is the soil that is in direct contact with the roots. Put down the seedlings, straighten out the roots, fill the topsoil in several times, and practise the surrounding area. The top is covered with soil to 20-30 cm above the ground, then watered 1-2 times, and then covered with a layer of loose soil.

In the first year after planting, the roots of the bayberry are underdeveloped. When the temperature is high and dry in July-August, it is easy to be killed by drought, and early drought resistance should be carried out.
