According to reports, this new package called the sum of barriers is made up of 6 layers of different materials. The first layer is polypropylene, which is a highly oil-resistant polymeric material. The second and fourth layers are adhesives with an oxygen barrier polymeric material EVOH. The fifth layer is an oxygen scavenger mixture, called the active barrier, which not only prevents the entry of extraneous oxygen molecules, but also the oxygen in the package.
