Network cameras play the role of eyes in security monitoring. Their use environment is complex, mostly outdoor and harsh environments. If the use and maintenance are improper, the aging and scrapping speed of the camera will be accelerated. For the unique structure of the network camera, there are the following matters needing attention.

1. Do not disassemble the camera without permission

Network cameras are usually produced by professional manufacturers, with precise construction, and there are no parts that users can repair by themselves. Unless necessary, do not disassemble the camera at will, do not remove screws or protection. If there is a malfunction, you should directly contact qualified Service personnel or send the camera directly to the maintenance department for inspection.

Consequences of blind disassembly: lightly touching its internal parts, it is easy to cause damage to the camera, failure to expand, and cause greater losses. Once damaged, the dealer will not be guaranteed. If it is serious, it will cause electric shock, and the consequences will be disastrous.

2. Be careful when using the camera

Do not use the camera indiscriminately, avoid collision or vibration. If the camera is used or stored improperly, it will be damaged. Avoid contacting the camera with oil, steam, moisture, moisture, dust and other substances, and avoid direct contact with water. Do not pull or twist the cable, similar actions may cause damage to the camera. Do not install the camera upside down. For example, the camera is designed to be installed on the ceiling or wall. If it is used upside down, installed on the floor, etc., it will cause the camera to malfunction.

3. When cleaning the camera body, please do not use strong or abrasive cleaners and organic solvents to wipe the camera.

When the camera is dirty, wipe it with a soft dry cloth. If the dirt is serious, wipe it gently with a neutral cleaner. When wiping, be careful not to scratch the round protective cover. Then wipe off the residual part of the cleaning agent with a dry cloth. When storing, the camera should be stored in a clean and dry place.

4. Don't aim the sun with the camera

Do not aim the camera at bright objects. Whether the camera is in use or not, it must never be aimed at the sun or other very bright objects. Otherwise, the image sensing device of the camera may be damaged, which may cause the image to be blurred or produce halos. Never point the camera at a place exposed to a light source for a long time. If spot light sources such as spotlights form a spot on the display screen, part of the image will be discolored due to the deterioration of the CCD filter when the camera changes the face.

5. Do not use the camera when it exceeds the temperature, humidity or power supply specifications

Do not use the camera in extreme environments with high temperature and high humidity. Do not place near accessories such as heaters, stoves, or other devices that generate heat.

6. Do not install the camera near the air outlet of the air conditioner

In the following cases, the lens will fog due to condensation of water vapor:

The rapid temperature change caused by the air conditioner turning on and off.

The rapid temperature change caused by the door opening and closing.

Use in an environment that can fog the glasses.

Use in a room full of smoke or dust.

If the lens becomes fogged due to condensation of water vapor, remove the cover and wipe off any moisture on the surface with a soft cloth.

7. Consumables

Parts with contacts, such as lens drive motors, cooling fan motors, and internally installed slip rings wear out over time. For replacement and maintenance of these parts, please consult the nearest service center.

8. Do not point the camera at the same object for a long time

This will burn a shadow of the object on the fluorescent screen of the cathode ray tube.
