The domestic share of wind turbines has further increased in China, but key products such as complete machine control systems still rely on imports; photovoltaic industry is highly dependent on foreign countries, 90% of photovoltaic products are exported to foreign countries, and typical industries and markets are inverted. Biomass energy industry is highly dependent on foreign countries, and the key technologies and equipment used for biomass incineration boilers are produced from abroad.

The report shows that the development status of China's key industries for new energy is: the stable growth of the wind power industry; the high maturity of the photovoltaic industry, but the overcapacity situation is obvious; the biomass energy industry is still in its infancy; the characteristic development and utilization pattern of the geothermal industry has taken shape.

The China Industrial Security Research Center of Beijing Jiaotong University has released a series of industry safety reports for the first time.
