According to reports, Zhengzhou City Statistics Department announced in 2015 that the average wage of employees in non-private enterprises in the city was 52,987 yuan, and the average wage of employees in urban private enterprises was 33,495 yuan. If the average wage of a unit employee in 2015 reaches or exceeds the average wage level of the current year, the proportion of housing provident fund contribution shall not be less than 10%; if the average wage level of the year is 80%, the proportion of housing provident fund shall not be less than 8%.
In principle, the monthly contribution fund of the housing provident fund shall not exceed 3 times the average monthly salary of the employees in the previous year, which is published by the statistical department of the city where the employee is working, and not lower than the local minimum wage. In 2016, the maximum monthly salary base for housing provident fund is 13,247 yuan, and the minimum monthly base for paying wages is 1,600 yuan; the maximum monthly deposit for units and employees is 3,180 yuan, and the minimum monthly deposit is 160 yuan.
Compared with 2015, the minimum monthly deposit limit has increased by 20 yuan, and the upper limit has increased by 224 yuan.
