[Integrated] Chengdu City Bureau of Industry sampling inspection: 2 batches of gloves PH value does not meet the national standard

On February 28, the official website of Chengdu Administration for Industry and Commerce announced the results of sampling quality tests for sports gloves and daily-use leather gloves in the fourth quarter of 2016. The pH of individual gloves did not meet the national standards.

According to reports, Chengdu Industrial and Commercial Bureau in the fourth quarter of 2016 carried out quality inspections on sports gloves and daily-use leather gloves sold in supermarkets and e-commerce platforms in Chengdu, Jinjiang District, Gaoxin District, Wuhou District, and Jianyang City. The sampling inspection was commissioned by the Sichuan Provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau. The formaldehyde content, pH value, degradable aromatic amine dyes, and color fastness to rubbing of the gloves were mainly examined.

According to this release of the "Quality Inspection of Commodity Quality of Daily Leather Gloves and Sports Gloves in the 4th Quarter of 2016, Inspection of List of Unqualified Commodities, Sampling Persons, and Manufacturers", two batches of products produced by Hefei Anyang Trade Co., Ltd. are produced. "Antelope Good Morning" glove samples were detected as failed in the pH project.

The industry and commerce departments have ordered the operators to remove the unqualified products from the market, and investigate and deal with the illegal acts of distributing unqualified products according to law. At the same time, the operators are required to carry out rectification, and they can be listed and sold only after being rectified and reviewed.
