Here are the advantages listed below:
(1) The protruding part of the frame type knife table is clamped by the disc spring, and the hydraulic pressure is relaxed. This type of structure is very rigid when subjected to high torque and high power cutting. When the blade is extended, the user can use either maneuver or manual as needed, which is convenient to operate. When manual is used, pin positioning can be used when the specified position is reached. The protrusion amount of the blade can be extended according to the diameter of the workpiece to be processed, and the blade has advantages in processing workpieces having a large difference in diameter. The front end of the blade has a quick change tool holder, which is convenient to operate and saves time. Loosen the two screws A and B as shown in Fig. 1.

(2) With the variety of tools, the front part of the blade can be quickly replaced by a variety of different quick-change cutters, such as Sweden's Sandvik BT series, Cape Town series ( CoromantCapto) quick change tool box, the United States Kenner quick change tool box, etc., easy to operate, save time, just loosen the screw C in Figure 2.

(4) The blade of the frame type turret can be extended according to the user's needs. It can be centered in the two-track or three-rail machine, and the minimum diameter of machining is zero. Good rigidity, especially in large-diameter cutting and grooving in horizontal lathes. Other turrets can only use long shank, which is not rigid enough to perform high-power cutting, which affects production efficiency.
In short, the frame turret has the outstanding advantages that it does not have with the square turret, etc., so it is widely used in the horizontal lathe and occupies a very important ratio.
