In the process of paving the ground, attention should be paid to the three steps of the pre-paving ground treatment, wood floor paving, and tile paving.
Ground treatment before pavement:
First: Clean the ground. Ensure that the ground is flat, dry and clean.
Second: waterproof moisture treatment. The waterproof coating should be applied evenly. The joints should be filled with paint or cement brush, and a water-resistant coating with a height of 30 cm should be applied close to the water pipe.
Third: If the ground environment is too moist, it should use pearl cotton bottoming, while the back of the floor should also be coated with a layer of moisture protection paint.
Wood floor pavement note:
First: The wood floor moisture content should be around 11%.
Second: After the floor is bought home, it is best to put it at room temperature of 16°C to 18°C ​​for two days.
Third: 1cm of floor expansion joints should be reserved between the floor and the wall.
Tile pavement considerations:
First: pay attention to the moisture content of the tiles. The surface is smooth and delicate, and the back feels soft with a suitable moisture content.
Second: pay attention to the difference between ceramic tiles and porcelain. The percussion sounds crisp and clear is a porcelain brick with a low water absorption rate, and the percussive sound is a clay brick with a high water absorption rate. Spring decoration should use porcelain tiles with low water absorption.
In addition, avoid moving and placing heavy objects within 48 hours of floorboarding to allow enough time for the glue to stick. Freshly-laid floors are best cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or broom.
