The power generation project achieved more than 54.1 yuan per ton of steel, and the utilization of residual heat energy to generate electricity has entered the industry's leading ranks.

The main process energy consumption index improved significantly, reducing the energy cost per ton of steel 40.7 yuan. Since the beginning of this year, Tangshan Iron & Steel has invested more than 50 million yuan to transform or update dozens of high-power water pumps, motors, fans, and more than 8,000 plant lighting fixtures with low energy efficiency, and can save more than 90 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. The effect is nearly 50 million yuan.

The effectiveness of the optimized system operation has been remarkable. Reactive power compensation device is recovered to reduce reactive power loss and increase power factor. Properly allocate the power station load, shut down 110,000 substations in the Southern District, and reduce the capacity of the power station. We must do a good job in the comprehensive utilization of water resources and reduce the use of tap water by more than 8,000 tons per day.
