So far, Singapore is the sixth largest investment partner of Tianjin. The number of investment projects of Singapore enterprises in Tianjin has reached 553, with a total investment of more than 1.3 billion US dollars. In the first ten months of this year, the bilateral trade volume increased by 20% over the same period of last year.

In the past three months, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister of Communications Yao Zhaodong have visited Tianjin. The “Tianjin-Singapore Week” hosted by the Singapore International Enterprise Development Agency was held at the end of last month.
